While the six plus hour single player game is fun, this game shines at multi-player. (Ken from SLC) Crazy Heart / Fox Searchlight Pictures BLU, DVD Not sure if Jeff Bridges deserves the best actor Oscar for Crazy Heart or if it was given for his entire body of work? Check out the movie and see why he deserves all the credit. A premier performance- he even does the singing too, it’s not a double – that dispels the all doubts. (Dale Parus from HPW) A Family Album / Verve Pipe CD I love when groups I listened to when I was younger come out with quality recordings for kids today. This is similar in scope to The Barenaked Ladies’ Snacktime!, or They Might Be Giants. Verve Pipe has now joined the family music scene with A Family Album. My favorites are “Wake Up” and “Suppertime.” A Family Album is a fantastic listen for the whole family. Recess Monkey is a great rock band for kids that parents won’t mind listening to. The songs are off-the-wall and fun with a great beat. Cheer up your inner stalker with 'The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get', and then relax while thinking about the nuclear annihilation of your hometown in 'Everyday is Like Sunday'. (Ken from SLC) It Might Get Loud / Davis Guggenheim DVD Absolutely fantastic documentary that features Jack Black, The Edge and Jimmy Page discussing what influenced their face-melting guitar skills. (Megan from MPL) Lungs / Florence + the Machine CD A terrific art-pop album that fans of artist like Arcade Fire, Bat for Lashes and Kate Bush will enjoy. (Lauren from SLC) Monarch of the Glen / BBC DVD This is a funny, charming, and very entertaining BBC television series set in the Scottish highlands featuring the MacDonald family and friends as they struggle to maintain Glenbogle castle and estate. Colorful characters, British humor, lots of laughs. (Beth from CMM) The North Face / Beta Cinema DVD This is a heartbreaking but riveting story of two mountain climbers attempting to be the first to reach the mountain summit.
