 This is dark, gritty deconstructionist fantasy with a strong historical inspiration. It is truly character-driven, complex personalities, vivid setting, great dialogue, gripping, gory action scenes. It is a unique accomplishment, speaking as a fantasy fan; nothing quite like it.

 This is a delightful story of a woman who was instrumental in developing the Tiffany lamps and windows. It has wonderful characters and a great historical account of a time when women were forging their place in the business world.
